Following some of the suggestions i've received from the inkscape user list i made an upgrade adding the user pictures.
now there's the default one for everyone;
if you're going to register to inkscape gallery you'd like to know that you need to prepare a 55x55px image to use as your user picture.
when you create your profile you will see the fieldset where to upload the image.
If you're already registered you may add your picture editing your account (not your profile).
Now you'll see the user picture upload skin.
