Greetings
I'm a freelance English/Spanish translator. I'm willing to help translating this website. What should I do?
Sorry for using the forums. I just couldn't find the contact address.
God bless you.

You're right in that. Also most Spanish speaking Inkscape artists speak or at least understand English. Inkscape is not so known in our countries, so it must be promoted. I'll be making a poll, anyway. God bless you.

hello Zelus,
would you ask to the spanish community about their interest in a spanish translation of inkscape gallery?
I'd like to have people from all over the world here in inkscape gallery, so i think we need to use a common language and that is english, for first.
But we may think about the interface translation, just to have menu in the proper language and some help tips in many different languages.
Spanish is the most used language aside english, so i'd like to do this translation, but we need to bring spanish people here in inskcape gallery to make this work useful, because it will not be easy, zelus...
If you want, make a "poll" in the spanish communities, inform them about inskcape gallery and ask what they think about a spanish translation...
Thank you again, zelus,
see you soon
Da.

"Sorry for using the forums. I just couldn't find the contact address."

You did the right thing, even if there's a contact form in inkscape gallery and you can use it now that you have been registered. You find it in the menu at the bottom of the page is a "contact us" link.
I really appreciate your offer and i will think about adding a spanish translation of the website. The problem is that the internatinalization it's not so smart in drupal, and we had to find some tricks to make it work as we expected. But there will be a lot of work if we decide to add another language, maybe you can help us in this way right now:
Trying to spread the inkscape gallery knowledge for first and then check all the english we used in this website and if you find something wrong or simply ugly you may tell me and i'll change. Just write the url and then paste the wrong text followed by the correct one to make it easier for me to understand where to apply it.
You may use the contact form to report.
Thank you very much, Zelus
Da.
